What is a will?

Your Will is your own unique expression of wishes for your friends and family. A Will covers many vital issues – gifts of money and property as well as who you wish to be guardians of your children. With good estate planning and a well-drafted Will, you can minimise the amount of inheritance tax your family will have to pay.

Why do I need a will?

Without a Will, the law known as the intestacy rules will decide who receives your property when you die and this could mean those you love are excluded, especially if you are not married.

Why choose Carisma Wills for your will?

Carisma Wills offers a straightforward, fixed fee service in Stoke on Trent, Cheadle, Uttoxeter, Stone, Stafford and surrounding towns and villages. Our confidential and professional will writing service ensures that your will is drafted accurately and in plain English, so there can be no confusion about your wishes.
We will advise you about any inheritance tax that might be payable and how this could be mitigated; explain how to protect your assets and avoid accidentally disinheriting your own children if you were to remarry in later life and if you wish we can discuss the funding of your care in later life.

We always offer to supervise the execution (signing) of your will to ensure that all the legal requirements are met. We can also arrange for the safe storage of your Will for a small annual fee.

Carisma Wills is a member of the Institute of Professional Will writers and complies with the IPW Code of Conduct which is endorsed by the Chartered Trading Standards Institute. Find out more here.
